Based in Kingussie, we are a small, specialist activities company, providing instructional courses, training and guided trips and expeditions throughout the Highlands and to Norway. Our activities include mountaineering and hillwalking, open canoeing, bushcraft and wilderness living skills.
At wildernessexperiences.co.uk we have a very strong environmental ethos, built up over 25 years of working in the outdoors. Linked to this is our philosophy of small groups journeying in wild areas, being self relient, environmentaly sustainable and with the minimum of impact. As well as exploring some really wild and challenging environments we also aim to have fun and relax and allow you to enjoy just being in a wild and remote area.

We also specialise in providing training for education professionals in areas such as Bushcraft and woodland skills as well as forest education and environmental re-connection.
These courses and workshops are aimed at teaching the basic skills and building the confidence needed to work in the woodland environment with young people.
