Aviemore and Area Learning Partnership (AALP) is a community learning project based in Aviemore. The purpose of AALP is to provide local learning opportunities without the need to travel.
AALP is conveniently situated in rented premises, which have recently been refurbished, on Grampian Road.
There is a training room with 8 new computers and a meeting room.
AALP also organises short IT courses, for which it sources tutors and runs a programme of recreational and introductory learning opportunities to benefit both members of the community and business.
AALP is currently offering a number of certificated courses in conjunction with Inverness College, as well as a selection of non-vocational courses within AALP and the surrounding area.
The centre is LearnDirect Scotland branded and has its Investors in People Standard (IIP).
We are also an Individual Learning Account (ILA) approved centre.
ILA Scotland is a Scottish Executive scheme that can help you pay for the cost of your learning.
