| Our two self catering cottages provide quality accommodation and a great place to escape to for a short break or longer holiday at any time of year. Situated beside a small loch, the cottages, Outlook and Lochside are located on Avielochan Farm and have spectacular views of the Cairngorm Mountains. | |
| Outlook is a spacious bungalow located on the farm in its own grounds. It has a comfortable sitting room with wood stove, 3 bedrooms (sleeping up to 7), a dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Lochside Cottage, set in its own grounds, stands about 20 metres from the shores of the loch. It has a relaxing open-plan area with wood stove and adjacent kitchen/dining area. There are 2 bedrooms (sleeping up to 5) and a shower room. The loch is home to many birds including the Ospreys which nest at nearby Loch Garten and regularly frequent Avielochan as a popular meal stop. For those interested in fishing, the loch is well stocked by the local angling association and permits are available. On our farm we have around 80 head of cattle and a small flock of sheep. | |
