Brewery making tradional ales using well established brewing methods, the finest malted & roast barley, hops & crystal clear mountain water. The brewery is open 6 days a week selling our full range of bottled beers plus party barrels of our permanent & cask ale. Free Tours 10.30am & 2.30pm Mon-Fri
Our traditional ales such as Stag, Wild Cat and Black Gold are well established giving a consistently quality product. Along side these we have added new contemporary brews like Trade Winds, White Gold and Blessed Thistle. We are proud of our small team of lads and lassies who continue to win awards for our ales. In March 2009 Black Gold won SIBA Supreme Champion Beer of the Year which meant we were 1st against 450 breweries in the Country! We have previously won Champion Beer of Scotland in 2004 with Trade Winds and 2005 with Black Gold. Trade Winds also won Speciality Beer of Britain 2004, 2005 & 2006 and UK Champion Best Bitter in 2008. Why not come and visit us, come on a tour and taste our range of quality local ales.
