Cairngorms National Park is home to 17,000 people, and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors a year drawn by the spectacular scenery and wildlife.
This is the UK’s largest National Park - 3,800 sq kilometres in extent - and a car is often seen as a necessity to get out and about rather than a luxury.
Information here has been designed to show that you can readily explore the Park using public transport.
So leave your car at home and make the most of trains, buses, bikes and walking to access some of the finest scenery in Scotland.
