A Police Command Area of Northern Constabulary working to make a positive contribution to the wellbeing of the Badenoch and Strathspey area. This covers all economic,environmental and social issues and thereafter addressing these matters with our partner Agencies and Organisations.
It is Northern Constabulary's goal to make a positive contribution to the wellbeing of the Highlands and Islands through a problem solving approach to Community Policing. The strategic priorities are;
Safer roads with reduced deaths, injury and crime.
Sustainable crime reduction
Effective engagement of criminality in respect of serious and organised crime
Public reassurance in the safety of our communities.
The Badenoch and Strathspey Area will contribute to these priorities by consulting locally to ascertain the best way to address these issues within a local context. This will be done by staff sitting on Community Planning Groups, attending Community Council Meetings and by regular consultation with councillors and others representing the local communities.
